Mt 27:45: Ἀπὸ δὲ ἕκτης ὥρας σκότος ἐγένετο ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἕως ὥρας ἐνάτης. Mk 15:33: Καὶ γενομένης ὥρας ἕκτης σκότος ἐγένετο ἐφ᾽ ὅλην τὴν γῆν ἕως ὥρας ἐνάτης. Lk 23:44: Καὶ ἦν ἤδη ὡσεὶ ὥρα ἕκτη καὶ σκότος ἐγένετο ἐφ᾽ ὅλην τὴν γῆν ἕως ὥρας ἐνάτης  

Mt 27:48: καὶ εὐθέως δραμὼν εἷς ἐξ αὐτῶν καὶ λαβὼν σπόγγον πλήσας τε ὄξους καὶ περιθεὶς καλάμῳ ἐπότιζεν αὐτόν.

Mk 15:36: Δραμὼν δέ τις καὶ γεμίσας σπόγγον ὄξους περιθεὶς καλάμῳ ἐπότιζεν αὐτόν λέγων· Ἄφετε ἴδωμεν εἰ ἔρχεται Ἠλίας καθελεῖν αὐτόν.

Lk 23:36: Ἐνέπαιξαν δὲ αὐτῷ καὶ οἱ στρατιῶται προσερχόμενοι, ὄξος προσφέροντες αὐτῷ

Jn 19:29: σκεῦος ἔκειτο ὄξους μεστόν· σπόγγον οὖν μεστὸν τοῦ ὄξους ὑσσώπῳ περιθέντες προσήνεγκαν αὐτοῦ τῷ στόματι.

Mt 27:50: Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς πάλιν κράξας φωνῇ μεγάλῃ

Mk 15:37: Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἀφεὶς φωνὴν μεγάλην

Lk 23:46: Καὶ φωνήσας φωνῇ μεγάλῃ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν·

 
ἀφῆκεν τὸ πνεῦμα.¶
ἐξέπνευσεν.¶
Πάτερ, εἰς χεῖράς σου παρατίθεμαι τὸ πνεῦμά μου. τοῦτο δὲ εἰπὼν ἐξέπνευσεν.¶

Jn 19:30: ὅτε οὖν ἔλαβεν τὸ ὄξος ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν· Τετέλεσται, καὶ κλίνας τὴν κεφαλὴν παρέδωκεν τὸ πνεῦμα.¶

Mt 27:51: Καὶ ἰδοὺ τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ ἐσχίσθη ἀπ᾽ ἄνωθεν ἕως κάτω εἰς δύο καὶ ἡ γῆ ἐσείσθη καὶ αἱ πέτραι ἐσχίσθησαν,

Mk 15:38: Καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ ἐσχίσθη εἰς δύο ἀπ᾽ ἄνωθεν ἕως κάτω.

Lk 23:45: τοῦ ἡλίου ἐκλιπόντος, ἐσχίσθη δὲ τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ μέσον.

 

Mt 27:54: δὲ ἑκατόνταρχος καὶ οἱ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ τηροῦντες τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἰδόντες τὸν σεισμὸν καὶ τὰ γενόμενα

Mk 15:39: Ἰδὼν δὲ κεντυρίων ὁ παρεστηκὼς ἐξ ἐναντίας αὐτοῦ

Lk 23:47: Ἰδὼν δὲ ἑκατοντάρχης τὸ γενόμενον

 
ἐφοβήθησαν σφόδρα, λέγοντες· ὅτι οὕτως ἐξέπνευσεν εἶπεν· ἐδόξαζεν τὸν Θεὸν λέγων·  
Ἀληθῶς Θεοῦ Υἱὸς ἦν οὗτος.¶
Ἀληθῶς οὗτος ἄνθρωπος Υἱὸς Θεοῦ ἦν.¶
Ὄντως ἄνθρωπος οὗτος δίκαιος ἦν.

Mt 27:45: And from [the] sixth hour, darkness was over all the land, until [the] ninth hour. Mk 15:33: And [the] sixth hour having arrived, darkness came over the whole land, until [the] ninth hour. Lk 23:44: And now it was about [the] sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until [the] ninth hour.  

Mt 27:48: And immediately one of them, having run and having taken a sponge, and having filled [it] with vinegar and having put [it] on a reed, gave Him to drink.

Mk 15:36: And one having run and having filled a sponge with vinegar, having put [it] on a reed, gave Him to drink, saying, “Let be; let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down.”

Lk 23:36: And the soldiers also mocked Him, coming near, offering Him sour wine,

Jn 19:29: A vessel full of sour wine had been set [there]. So having put on a stalk of hyssop a sponge filled with sour wine, they brought it to the mouth.

Mt 27:50: And Jesus, having cried again in a loud voice,

Mk 15:37: But Jesus, having uttered a loud cry,

Lk 23:46: And having called out in a loud voice, Jesus said,

 
yielded up [His] spirit. breathed His last. “Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit.” And having said this, He breathed His last.

Jn 19:30: Therefore when Jesus took the sour wine, He said “It has been finished.” And having bowed the head, He yielded up the spirit.

Mt 27:51: And behold, the veil of the temple was torn into two from top to bottom. And the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split.

Mk 15:38: And the veil of the temple was torn into two from top to bottom.

Lk 23:45: The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in [the] middle.

 

Mt 27:54: And the centurion and those with him keeping guard over Jesus, having seen the earthquake and the things taking place,

Mk 15:39: And the centurion standing opposite of Him, having seen

Lk 23:47: And having seen that which had taken place, the centurion

 
feared greatly, saying, that He breathed His last, thus said, began glorifying God, saying,  
“Truly this was God’s Son.” “Truly this man was [the] Son of God!” “Certainly this man was righteous.”  

 

 


It was about noon, and darkness came over the whole earth until three.

They put a sponge with vinegar on a reed and gave it to him.

(Jesus cried out) with a loud voice. He gave up his breath (πνευμα).

The curtain of the temple was split in two.

The centurion, seeing (what happened), said: “Truly, this (person) was ⎡righteous|son of god⎤!”
