Jn 19:16: Τότε οὖν παρέδωκεν αὐτὸν αὐτοῖς ἵνα σταυρωθῇ.¶
Παρέλαβον οὖν τὸν Ἰησοῦν,

Mt Mk Lk Jn
Mt 27:15: And at [the] feast, the governor was accustomed to release one prisoner to the multitude, whom they were wishing.

Mt 27:17: Therefore of them being gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom want you [that] I shall release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus, who is called Christ?”

Mt 27:20: But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds that they should ask for Barabbas, and should destroy Jesus.

Mt 27:21: And the governor answering said to them, “Which of the two do you desire [that] I release to you?” And they said, “Barabbas.”

Mt 27:22: Pilate says to them, “What then should I do with Jesus, who is called Christ?” They all say, “Let [Him] be crucified.”

Mt 27:23: And he said, “For what evil did He commit?” And they kept crying out all the more, saying, “Let [Him] be crucified.”

Mt 27:26: Then he released Barabbas to them; and having flogged Jesus, He delivered [Him] up that He might be crucified.

Mk 15:6: And at [the] feast, he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they requested.

Mk 15:9: But Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you wish [that] I should release to you the King of the Jews?”

Mk 15:11: But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, that he might release to them Barabbas instead.

Mk 15:12: And Pilate answering was saying to them again, “Then what do you wish [that] I should do to Him whom you call the King of the Jews?”

Mk 15:13: And they cried out again, “Crucify Him!”

Mk 15:14: And Pilate was saying to them, “Why? What evil did He commit?” But they shouted much more, “Crucify Him!”

Mk 15:15: And Pilate, desiring to do that which [was] satisfactory to the crowd, released Barabbas to them. And having flogged [Him], he delivered Jesus that He might be crucified.

Lk 23:18: But they cried out all together, saying, “Away with this [man], and release to us Barabbas,”

Lk 23:20: Therefore Pilate, wishing to release Jesus, called to them again.

Lk 23:21: But they were crying out, saying, “Crucify! Crucify Him!”

Lk 23:22: And he said to them a third [time], “What evil indeed did this [man] commit? I found no cause of death in Him. Therefore having chastised Him, I will release [Him].”

Lk 23:23: But they were urgent, asking with loud voices for Him to be crucified. And their voices were prevailing.

Lk 23:25: And he released the [one] having been cast into prison on account of insurrection and murder, whom they had asked for; and Jesus he delivered to their will.

Jn 18:39: But it is your custom that I should release to you one at the Passover; therefore do you wish I should release to you the King of the Jews?”

Jn 18:40: Then they cried out again saying,”Not this one, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.

Jn 19:4: And Pilate went forth outside again and says to them,“Behold, I bring Him out to you so that you may know that I find no guilt in Him.”

Jn 19:6: Therefore when the chief priests and the officers saw Him, they cried out saying, “Crucify! Crucify!” Pilate says to them, “Take Him yourselves and crucify [Him], for I find no guilt in Him.”

Jn 19:15: So they cried out, “Away with Him, away! Crucify Him!” Pilate says to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

Jn 19:16: So then, he delivered Him to them, that He might be crucified. Therefore they took Jesus.

At the feast, Pilate would release one (prisoner).

“Do you want me to release to you ⎡Jesus|the king of the Jews⎤?”

(They responded) “release Barabbas!”

Pilate addressed them, but they shouted, “Crucify him!” He said “But what wrong has he done?”

But they shouted, “Crucify him!”

Pilate released Barabbas, and he handed Jesus over to be crucified.
