Mt 24:1: And having gone forth from
the temple, Jesus was going away, and
His disciples came to [Him] to point out to Him the buildings of the
temple. Mt 24:2: And answering, He said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, no not even a stone shall be left here upon a stone, which will not be thrown down.” Mt 24:3: And [as] He was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him in private, saying, “Tell us, when these things will be? And what [is] the sign of Your coming, and the consummation of the age?” Mt 24:4: And Jesus answering, said to them, “Take heed, lest anyone mislead you. Mt 24:5: For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many. Mt 24:6: And you will begin to hear of wars and rumors of wars. Behold, do not be alarmed; for it is necessary to take place, but the end is not yet. Mt 24:7: For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in [various] places. |
Mk 13:1: And of Him going forth out of
the temple, one of His disciples says
to Him, “Teacher, behold what stones and what buildings!” Mk 13:2: And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not [one] stone shall be left here upon a stone, which shall not be thrown down.” … Mk 13:4: “Tell us when these things will be, and what [will be] the sign when all these things are going to be accomplished?” Mk 13:5: And Jesus began to say to them, “Take heed, lest anyone mislead you. Mk 13:6: Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am [He],’ and they will mislead many. Mk 13:7: And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be disturbed. It must come to pass, but the end [is] not yet. Mk 13:8: For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These [are] [the] beginning of birth pains. |
Lk 21:5: And as some were speaking about
the temple, that it was adorned with
goodly stones and consecrated gifts, He
said, Lk 21:6: “[As to] these things which you are beholding, [the] days will come in which no stone will be left upon a stone, which will not be thrown down.” Lk 21:7: And they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, when will these things be, and what [will be] the sign when these things are about to take place?” Lk 21:8: And He said, “Take heed, lest you be led astray; for many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am [He],’ and ‘The time is drawn near.’ Do not go after them. Lk 21:9: And when you should hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for it behooves these things to take place first, but the end [is] not immediately.” Lk 21:10: Then He was saying to them, “Nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. Lk 21:11: There will be both great earthquakes, and famines and pestilences in different places. There will also be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. |
(As they spoke) of the temple, Jesus said,
“Do you see (these buildings)? Not a stone will be left on another that will not be thrown down.”
They asked him, “When will this be, and what will be the sign?”
He said, “See to it that no one leads you astray. Many will come in my name and say, ‘I am he.’
You will hear of wars and rumours of wars; do not be alarmed. It must take place, but it is not yet the end.
Nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes and famines in various places.”
