Mt 22:42: saying, “What do you
think concerning the
Christ? Of whom is He
son?” They say to Him, “Of
David.” Mt 22:43: He says to them, “How then does David in spirit call Him Lord, saying: Mt 22:44: The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies [as] a footstool for Your feet.”‘ Mt 22:45: If therefore David calls Him Lord, how is He his son?” |
Mk 12:35: And answering, Jesus was
saying, teaching in the temple, “How
do the scribes say that the
Christ is [the]
son of
David? Mk 12:36: David himself said by the Holy Spirit: ‘[The] Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies [as] a footstool of Your feet.”‘ Mk 12:37: David himself calls Him Lord. And from where is He his son?” And the great crowd was listening to Him gladly. |
Lk 20:41: And He said to them,
“How do they
declare the Christ
to be Son
of David? Lk 20:42: For David himself says in [the] book of Psalms: ‘[The] Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Lk 20:43: until I place Your enemies, [as] a footstool of Your feet.”‘ Lk 20:44: David therefore calls Him Lord, and how is He his son?” |
Then he said, “How can people say that the Christ is son of David?
For David says, ‘The LORD said to my lord, “Sit at my right, until I put your enemies under your feet.”‘
So David calls him ‘Lord.’ Then how is he his son?”
