| Mt 22:42: saying, | Mk 12:35: And answering, Jesus was saying, teaching in the temple, | Lk 20:41: And He said to them, |
| “What do you think concerning the Christ? Of whom is He son?” They say to Him, “Of David.” | “How do the scribes say that the Christ is [the] son of David? | “How do they declare the Christ to be Son of David? |
|
Mt 22:43: He says to them, “How then does David in spirit call Him Lord, saying: |
Mk 12:36: David himself said by the Holy Spirit: |
Lk 20:42: For David himself says in [the] book of Psalms: |
|
Mt 22:44: The Lord said to my Lord, |
‘[The] Lord said to my Lord, | ‘[The] Lord said to my Lord, |
| “Sit at My right hand, | “Sit at My right hand, | “Sit at My right hand, |
| until I place Your enemies [as] a footstool for Your feet.”‘ | until I place Your enemies [as] a footstool of Your feet.”‘ |
Lk 20:43: until I place Your enemies, [as] a footstool of Your feet.”‘ |
|
Mt 22:45: If therefore David calls Him Lord, |
Mk 12:37: David himself calls Him Lord. |
Lk 20:44: David therefore calls Him Lord, |
| how is He his son?” | And from where is He his son?” And the great crowd was listening to Him gladly. | and how is He his son?” |
Then he said, “How do they say that the Christ is son of David?
David says, ‘The LORD said to my lord, “Sit at my right, until I put your enemies under your feet.”‘
So David calls him ‘Lord.’ Then how is he his son?”
