Mt 16:13: Ἐλθὼν δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὰ μέρη Καισαρείας τῆς Φιλίππου ἠρώτα τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ Mk 8:27: Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὰς κώμας Καισαρείας τῆς Φιλίππου· καὶ ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ ἐπηρώτα τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ Lk 9:18: Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν προσευχόμενον κατὰ μόνας συνῆσαν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταί, καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτοὺς
λέγων· λέγων αὐτοῖς· λέγων·
Τίνα λέγουσιν οἱ ἄνθρωποι εἶναι τὸν Υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου; Τίνα με λέγουσιν οἱ ἄνθρωποι εἶναι; Τίνα με λέγουσιν οἱ ὄχλοι εἶναι;

Mt 16:14: Οἱ δὲ εἶπαν·

Mk 8:28: Οἱ δὲ εἶπαν αὐτῷ λέγοντες

Lk 9:19: Οἱ δὲ ἀποκριθέντες εἶπαν·

Οἱ μὲν Ἰωάννην τὸν Βαπτιστήν, ὅτι Ἰωάννην τὸν Βαπτιστήν, Ἰωάννην τὸν Βαπτιστήν,
ἄλλοι δὲ Ἠλίαν, καὶ ἄλλοι Ἠλίαν, ἄλλοι δὲ Ἠλίαν,
ἕτεροι δὲ Ἰερεμίαν ἢ ἕνα τῶν προφητῶν. ἄλλοι δὲ ὅτι εἷς τῶν προφητῶν. ἄλλοι δὲ ὅτι προφήτης τις τῶν ἀρχαίων ἀνέστη.

Mt 16:15: Λέγει αὐτοῖς·

Mk 8:29: Καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπηρώτα αὐτούς·

Lk 9:20: Εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς·

Ὑμεῖς δὲ τίνα με λέγετε εἶναι; Ὑμεῖς δὲ τίνα με λέγετε εἶναι; Ὑμεῖς δὲ τίνα με λέγετε εἶναι;

Mt 16:16: Ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ Σίμων Πέτρος

ἈποκριθεὶςΠέτρος Πέτρος δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς
εἶπεν· λέγει αὐτῷ· εἶπεν·
Σὺ εἶ Χριστὸς ὁ Υἱὸς τοῦ Θεοῦ τοῦ ζῶντος. Σὺ εἶ Χριστός. Τὸν Χριστὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ.

Mt 16:20: Τότε διεστείλατο τοῖς μαθηταῖς

Mk 8:30: Καὶ ἐπετίμησεν αὐτοῖς

Lk 9:21: Ὁ δὲ ἐπιτιμήσας αὐτοῖς

ἵνα μηδενὶ εἴπωσιν ὅτι αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ Χριστός.¶
ἵνα μηδενὶ λέγωσιν περὶ αὐτοῦ.¶
παρήγγειλεν μηδενὶ λέγειν τοῦτο

Mt 16:13: And Jesus having come into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was questioning His disciples Mk 8:27: And Jesus and His disciples went forth into the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way, He was questioning His disciples, Lk 9:18: And it came to pass as He was praying in solitary, the disciples were with Him, and He questioned them,
saying, saying to them, saying,
“Whom do men pronounce the Son of Man to be?” “Whom do men pronounce Me to be?” “Whom do the crowds pronounce Me to be?”

Mt 16:14: And they said,

Mk 8:28: And they answered Him, saying,

Lk 9:19: And answering, they said,

“Some indeed, John the Baptist; “John the Baptist; “John the Baptist;
and others, Elijah; and others, Elijah; and others, Elijah;
and others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” and others, one of the prophets.” and others, that a prophet, one of the ancients, has arisen.”

Mt 16:15: He says to them,

Mk 8:29: And He was questioning them,

Lk 9:20: And He said to them,

“But whom do you pronounce Me to be?” “But whom do you pronounce Me to be?” “But whom do you pronounce Me to be?”

Mt 16:16: And Simon Peter answering

Peter answering, And Peter answering
said, says to Him, said,
“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” “You are the Christ.” “The Christ of God.”

Mt 16:20: Then He instructed the disciples

Mk 8:30: And He warned them

Lk 9:21: And having strictly warned [them], He them

that they should tell no one that He is the Christ. that they should tell no one concerning Him. instructed to tell this to no one,

 

 


(Jesus) questioned the disciples, saying: “Who do people say I am?”

They said, “John the Baptist, others Elijah, and others one of the prophets.”

He said to them, “But you, who do you say I am?”

Answering, Peter said, “You are the Christ!”

Jesus ordered them to tell nobody.
