Mt 15:32: And Jesus, having called His disciples [to Him], said,
“I am moved
with compassion
toward the crowd,
because they continue with Me three days already and have nothing that
they might eat. And I am not willing to
send them away
hungry, lest they faint on the way.” Mt 15:33: And the disciples say to Him, “From where [will be] to us in a secluded place so many loaves, as so great a crowd to satisfy?” Mt 15:34: And Jesus says to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few small fish.” Mt 15:35: And having commanded the crowds to sit down on the ground, Mt 15:36: having taken the seven loaves and the fish, and having given thanks, He broke [them] and kept giving [them] to [the] disciples, and the disciples to the crowd. Mt 15:38: And those eating were four thousand men, besides women and children. |
Mt 14:13: And Jesus having heard, withdrew from there
by boat to a secluded place by
Himself. And the crowds having heard
[of it], followed Him on foot from the
towns. Mt 14:14: And having gone out, He saw a great crowd and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick. Mt 14:15: And evening having come, the disciples came to Him saying, “This place is desolate, and the time already is gone by. Therefore dismiss the crowds, that having gone into the villages, they might buy food for themselves.” Mt 14:16: And Jesus said to them, “They have no need to go away. You give to them [something] to eat.” Mt 14:17: And they say to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” … Mt 14:19: And having commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass, having taken the five loaves and the two fish, having looked up to heaven, He spoke a blessing. Mk 8:2: “I am moved
with compassion upon
the crowd, because they continue with
Me three days already, and have nothing that they might
eat. Mk 8:3: And if I shall send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way. For some of them are come from afar.” Mk 8:4: And His disciples answered Him, “From where will anyone be able to satisfy these with bread, here in this desolate place?” Mk 8:5: And He was asking them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven.” Mk 8:6: And He directs the crowd to recline on the ground. And having taken the seven loaves, having given thanks, He broke [them] and kept giving [them] to His disciples, that they might set before [them]. And they set [it] before the crowd. … Mk 8:8: And they ate and were satisfied. And they took up seven baskets of fragments over and above. Mk 8:9: And there were about four thousand. And He sent them away. |
Mk 6:32: And they went
away by the boat into a solitary place
by
themselves. … Mk 6:34: And having gone out, He saw a great crowd and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. And He began to teach them many things. Mk 6:35: And the hour already being late, having come to Him, his disciples were saying, “The place is desolate, and the hour already [is] late. Mk 6:36: Dismiss them, that having gone to the surrounding region and villages, they might buy for themselves something to eat.” Mk 6:37: But answering, He said to them, “You give to them to eat.” And they say to Him, “Having gone, shall we buy two hundred denarii of bread and give them to eat?” Mk 6:38: And He says to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go, see.” And having known, they say, “Five, and two fish.” Mk 6:39: And He commanded them to make them all recline, groups [by] groups, on the green grass. … Mk 6:41: And having taken the five loaves and the two fish, having looked up to heaven, He blessed and broke the loaves, and He kept giving [them] to His disciples, that they might set before them. Lk 9:10: And having returned, the apostles related to Him whatever they
had done. And having taken them, He
withdrew by Himself
into a town called Bethsaida. Lk 9:11: And the crowds having known [it], followed Him; and having received them, He was speaking to them concerning the kingdom of God, and He was healing those having need of healing. Lk 9:12: And the day began to decline, and the Twelve having come, said to Him, “Dismiss the crowd, that having gone into the surrounding villages and countryside, they might lodge and might find provisions; for we are in a desolate place here.” Lk 9:13: And He said to them, “You give to them to eat.” But they said, “There are no more than five loaves to us, and two fish, unless we, having gone, should buy food for all this people.” Lk 9:14: For they were about five thousand men. And He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of about fifty.” … Lk 9:16: And having taken the five loaves and the two fish, having looked up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and He kept giving [them] to the disciples to set before the crowd. sick. … Jn 6:9: “Here is a little boy who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are these for so many?” Jn 6:10: Jesus said, “Make the men to recline.” Now there was much grass in the place; therefore the men reclined, about five thousand [in] number. Jn 6:11: And Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks, He distributed to those reclining; likewise also of the fish, as much as they wished. Jn 6:12: Now when they were filled, He says to His disciples, “Gather together the fragments having been over and above, so that not anything may be lost.” Jn 6:13: So they gathered [them] together and filled twelve hand-baskets of fragments from the five barley loaves, which were over and above to those having eaten. |
