Mt 13:9: The [one] having ears, let him hear!”

Mk 4:9: And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Saying these things, He was calling out, “The [one] having ears to hear, let him hear.”

Mt 13:18: You, therefore, hear the parable of the [one] having sown:

Mk 4:13: And He says to them, “Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand all the parables?

Lk 8:11: And the parable is this:

Mt 13:19: Everyone hearing the word of the kingdom and not understanding, the evil one comes and snatches away that having been sown in his heart. This is the [one] having been sown on the path.

Mk 4:14: The [one] sowing sows the word.

Mk 4:15: And these are those along the road, where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word having been sown in them.

The seed is the word of God.

Lk 8:12: And those along the road are those having heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, lest having believed, they should be saved.

Mt 13:20: And the [one] having been sown upon the rocky places,

Mk 4:16: And these are those sown upon the rocky places,

Lk 8:13: And those upon the rock

this is the [one] hearing the word who when they hear the word, [are] those who when they hear;
and immediately receiving it with joy. immediately receive it with joy, receive the word with joy

Mt 13:21: And he has in himself no root,

Mk 4:17: and they have no root in themselves,

and these have no root,

And having come tribulation or persecution on account of the word, immediately he falls away. Then tribulation or persecution having arisen on account of the word, immediately they fall away. and in time of testing fall away.

Mk 4:18: And these are those sown among the thorns.

Lk 8:14: And that having fallen into the thorns,

this is the [one] hearing the word, These are those having heard the word, these are those having heard,
but the care of this present age and the deceit of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Mk 4:19: and the cares of this age and the deceit of riches, and the desires of the other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

and moving along are choked under [the] cares and riches and pleasures of life, and do not mature.

Mt 13:23: But the [one] having been sown on the good soil,

Mk 4:20: And these are those having been sown upon the good soil,

Lk 8:15: And that in the good soil,

this is the [one] hearing the word and understanding, who indeed brings forth fruit and produces– indeed, some a hundredfold, and some sixty, and some thirty.” such as hear the word and receive [it], and bring forth fruit: one thirtyfold, and one sixty, and one a hundred.” these are those [who], having heard the word, keep [it] in a worthy and good heart and bring forth fruit by perseverance.

A large crowd gathered around him.

He spoke to them in parables.

“The sower went out to sow. As he was sowing, some seeds fell along the path, and birds ate them up.

And others fell on stony ground, where they sprouted but they dried up because they did not have ⸂roots¦moisture⸃.

And others fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them.

And others fell on good soil and produced a crop.

(They produced) one hundred times.”

“May the person who has ears, listen!”

(Jesus explained) the parable.

“Those sown along by the path are like those who hear the word,

⎡Satan|the evil one⎤ comes and takes away ⎡the word|that which was sown⎤.

Those on the stony ground,

are those who hear and accept the word with joy, but since they don’t have any roots, they last for a short time.

When trouble or persecution comes along, they ⎡sumble|fall away⎤.

Those sown among the thorns,

are those who hear the word, but worries and wealth choke it so that it does not produce a crop.

Those on the good soil, are those who hear the word, ⸂understand¦accept⸃ it, and bear fruit.”
