Mt 12:9: And having departed from there, He
went into their
synagogue. Mt 12:10: And behold, a man having a withered hand, and they asked Him saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbaths?”– so that they might accuse Him. … Mt 12:12: How much more valuable therefore [is] a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbaths.” Mt 12:13: Then He says to [the] man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched [it] out, and it was restored, as sound as the other. Mt 12:14: And the Pharisees having gone out, held a counsel against Him, how they might destroy Him. |
Mk 3:1: And He entered
into the synagogue
again, and a man
having a withered hand
was there. Mk 3:2: And they were watching Him, whether He will heal him on the Sabbaths, in order that they might accuse Him. … Mk 3:4: And He says to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good, or to do evil, to save life, or to kill?” But they were silent. Mk 3:5: And having looked around on them with anger, being grieved at the hardness of their heart, He says to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched [it] out, and his hand was restored. Mk 3:6: And the Pharisees having gone out, immediately began to take counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. |
Lk 6:6: And it came to pass on another Sabbath, He
entered into the
synagogue and taught; and
there was a
man there, and his right hand was
withered. Lk 6:7: And the scribes and the Pharisees were closely watching Him, whether He will heal on the Sabbath, that they might find [reason] to accuse Him. … Lk 6:9: Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you whether it is lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy?” Lk 6:10: And having looked around on them all, He said to him, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did, and his hand was restored. Lk 6:11: And they themselves were filled with rage, and were discussing with one another what they might do to Jesus. |
Jesus went into the synagogue.
There was a person with a withered hand.
They watched Jesus to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, so as to accuse him.
He asked them, “Is it permitted to do good on the Sabbath?”
He said, “Hold out your hand.”
The man held it out, and it was restored.
They discussed what (to do with him).
