Jesus Gives Authority to the Twelve

Mt 10:1: And having summoned His twelve disciples, He gave to them authority over unclean spirits, so as to cast them out and to heal every disease and every sickness. … Mt 10:5: These twelve, Jesus sent forth, having instructed them, saying: “Do not go into [the] way of the Gentiles and do not enter into any city of [the] Samaritans.	Mk 3:13: And He goes up on the mountain and calls near those whom He Himself wanted, and they went to Him. Mk 3:14: And He appointed twelve ones, and He called [them] apostles, that they might be with Him, and that He might send them to preach, Mk 3:15: and to have authority to cast out demons.	Mk 6:7: And He calls to [Him] the Twelve, and He began to send them forth two [by] two, and He gave to them authority over the unclean spirits.	Lk 9:1: And having called together the Twelve, He gave to them power and authority over all the demons, and to heal diseases, Lk 9:2: and He sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Jesus called the twelve and gave them authority over ⎡demons|unclean spirits⎤. He sent them.
