Mt 9:9: Καὶ παράγων ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐκεῖθεν εἶδεν ἄνθρωπον καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, Μαθθαῖον λεγόμενον, Mk 2:14: Καὶ παράγων εἶδεν Λευὶν τὸν τοῦ Ἁλφαίου καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, Lk 5:27: Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξῆλθεν καὶ ἐθεάσατο τελώνην ὀνόματι Λευὶν καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον,
καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ·
Ἀκολούθει μοι. Ἀκολούθει μοι. Ἀκολούθει μοι.
καὶ ἀναστὰς καὶ ἀναστὰς

Lk 5:28: καὶ καταλιπὼν πάντα ἀναστὰς

Mt 9:10: Καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοῦ ἀνακειμένου ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ,

Mk 2:15: Καὶ γίνεται κατακεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦ,

Lk 5:29: Καὶ ἐποίησεν δοχὴν μεγάλην Λευὶς αὐτῷ ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦ,

καὶ ἰδοὺ πολλοὶ τελῶναι καὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐλθόντες συνανέκειντο τῷ Ἰησοῦ καὶ τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ. καὶ πολλοὶ τελῶναι καὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ συνανέκειντο τῷ Ἰησοῦ καὶ τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ· ἦσαν γὰρ πολλοὶ καὶ ἠκολούθουν αὐτῷ. καὶ ἦν ὄχλος πολὺς τελωνῶν καὶ ἄλλων οἳ ἦσαν μετ᾽ αὐτῶν κατακείμενοι.

Mt 9:11: καὶ ἰδόντες οἱ Φαρισαῖοι ἔλεγον τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ·

Mk 2:16: καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς τῶν Φαρισαίων ἰδόντες ὅτι ἐσθίει μετὰ τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν καὶ τελωνῶν ἔλεγον τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ·

Lk 5:30: καὶ ἐγόγγυζον οἱ Φαρισαῖοι καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶν πρὸς τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ λέγοντες·

Διὰ τί μετὰ τῶν τελωνῶν καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐσθίει ὁ διδάσκαλος ὑμῶν; Ὅτι μετὰ τῶν τελωνῶν καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐσθίει; Διὰ τί μετὰ τῶν τελωνῶν καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐσθίετε καὶ πίνετε;

Mt 9:12: Ὁ δὲ ἀκούσας εἶπεν·

Mk 2:17: Καὶ ἀκούσας ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγει αὐτοῖς

Lk 5:31: Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς·

Οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν οἱ ἰσχύοντες ἰατροῦ ὅτι Οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν οἱ ἰσχύοντες ἰατροῦ Οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν οἱ ὑγιαίνοντες ἰατροῦ
ἀλλ᾽ οἱ κακῶς ἔχοντες. ἀλλ᾽ οἱ κακῶς ἔχοντες· ἀλλὰ οἱ κακῶς ἔχοντες·

Mt 9:13: πορευθέντες δὲ μάθετε τί ἐστιν· Ἔλεος θέλω καὶ οὐ θυσίαν· οὐ γὰρ ἦλθον καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλούς.

οὐκ ἦλθον καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλούς.¶

Lk 5:32: οὐκ ἐλήλυθα καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλοὺς εἰς μετάνοιαν.¶

Mt 9:9: And Jesus passing on from there saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth. Mk 2:14: And passing on, He saw Levi the [son] of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, Lk 5:27: And after these things He went forth and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax booth.
And He says to him, and says to him, And He said to him,
“Follow Me.” “Follow Me.” “Follow Me.”
And having arisen, And having arisen,

Lk 5:28: And having left all, having arisen,

he followed Him. he followed Him. he began to follow Him.

Mt 9:10: And it came to pass, of Him reclining in the house,

Mk 2:15: And it came to pass in His reclining in his house,

Lk 5:29: And Levi made a great banquet for Him in his house,

that behold, many tax collectors and sinners having come, were reclining with Jesus and His disciples. that many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they were following Him. and there was a great multitude of tax collectors and others, who were reclining with them.

Mt 9:11: And having seen [it], the Pharisees said to His disciples,

Mk 2:16: And the scribes of the Pharisees, having seen Him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, were saying to His disciples,

Lk 5:30: And the Pharisees and their scribes were grumbling at His disciples, saying,

“Why does your Teacher eat with the tax collectors and sinners?” “Why does He eat with the tax collectors and sinners?” “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”

Mt 9:12: And having heard, He said,

Mk 2:17: And Jesus having heard, says to them,

Lk 5:31: And Jesus answering, said to them,

“Not those being strong have need of a physician, “Those being strong have no need of a physician, “Those being well have no need of a physician,
but those being sick. but those being sick. but those being sick.

Mt 9:13: But having gone, learn what is, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call [the] righteous, but sinners.”

I did not come to call [the] righteous, but sinners.”

Lk 5:32: I have not come to call righteous [ones], but sinners, to repentance.”

 

 


He saw ⸂Levi¦Matthew⸃ sitting at the tax collector’s desk. Jesus said to him, “Follow me!” So he got up and followed him.

At the house, many tax collectors were eating with him (Jesus).

The Pharisees said to his disciples, “Why do you eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Jesus: “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but the sick. I did not come to call righteous people, but sinners.”
