Mt 8:18: Ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὄχλον περὶ αὐτὸν ἐκέλευσεν ἀπελθεῖν εἰς τὸ πέραν.

Mt 8:23: Καὶ ἐμβάντι αὐτῷ εἰς τὸ πλοῖον ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ.

Mk 4:35: Καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὀψίας γενομένης· Διέλθωμεν εἰς τὸ πέραν.

Mk 4:36: καὶ ἀφέντες τὸν ὄχλον παραλαμβάνουσιν αὐτὸν ὡς ἦν ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ, καὶ ἄλλα πλοῖα ἦν μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ.

Lk 8:22: Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν μιᾷ τῶν ἡμερῶν καὶ αὐτὸς ἐνέβη εἰς πλοῖον καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς· Διέλθωμεν εἰς τὸ πέραν τῆς λίμνης, καὶ ἀνήχθησαν.

Mt 8:24: καὶ ἰδοὺ σεισμὸς μέγας ἐγένετο ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ, ὥστε τὸ πλοῖον καλύπτεσθαι ὑπὸ τῶν κυμάτων,

Mk 4:37: Καὶ γίνεται λαῖλαψ μεγάλη ἀνέμου καὶ τὰ κύματα ἐπέβαλλεν εἰς τὸ πλοῖον, ὥστε ἤδη γεμίζεσθαι τὸ πλοῖον.

Lk 8:23: καὶ κατέβη λαῖλαψ ἀνέμου εἰς τὴν λίμνην καὶ συνεπληροῦντο καὶ ἐκινδύνευον.

αὐτὸς δὲ ἐκάθευδεν.

Mk 4:38: καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν ἐν τῇ πρύμνῃ ἐπὶ τὸ προσκεφάλαιον καθεύδων.

πλεόντων δὲ αὐτῶν ἀφύπνωσεν.

Mt 8:25: καὶ προσελθόντες ἤγειραν αὐτὸν

καὶ ἐγείρουσιν αὐτὸν

Lk 8:24: Προσελθόντες δὲ διήγειραν αὐτὸν

λέγοντες· καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ· λέγοντες·
Κύριε, σῶσον, ἀπολλύμεθα. Διδάσκαλε, οὐ μέλει σοι ὅτι ἀπολλύμεθα; Ἐπιστάτα ἐπιστάτα, ἀπολλύμεθα.

Mt 8:26: τότε ἐγερθεὶς

Mk 4:39: Καὶ διεγερθεὶς

Ὁ δὲ διεγερθεὶς
ἐπετίμησεν τοῖς ἀνέμοις καὶ τῇ θαλάσσῃ, ἐπετίμησεν τῷ ἀνέμῳ καὶ εἶπεν τῇ θαλάσσῃ· Σιώπα, πεφίμωσο. ἐπετίμησεν τῷ ἀνέμῳ καὶ τῷ κλύδωνι τοῦ ὕδατος·
καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη μεγάλη. καὶ ἐκόπασεν ὁ ἄνεμος καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη μεγάλη. καὶ ἐπαύσαντο καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη.
Καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς·

Mk 4:40: Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς·

Lk 8:25: Εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς·

Τί δειλοί ἐστε, ὀλιγόπιστοι; Τί δειλοί ἐστε; οὔπω ἔχετε πίστιν; Ποῦπίστις ὑμῶν; Φοβηθέντες δὲ

Mt 8:27: Οἱ δὲ ἄνθρωποι ἐθαύμασαν λέγοντες·

Mk 4:41: Καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν φόβον μέγαν καὶ ἔλεγον πρὸς ἀλλήλους·

ἐθαύμασαν λέγοντες πρὸς ἀλλήλους·
Ποταπός ἐστιν οὗτος Τίς ἄρα οὗτός ἐστιν Τίς ἄρα οὗτός ἐστιν
ὅτι καὶ οἱ ἄνεμοι καὶ θάλασσα αὐτῷ ὑπακούουσιν;¶
ὅτι καὶ ἄνεμος καὶ θάλασσα ὑπακούει αὐτῷ;¶
ὅτι καὶ τοῖς ἀνέμοις ἐπιτάσσει καὶ τῷ ὕδατι, καὶ ὑπακούουσιν αὐτῷ;¶

Mt 8:18: And Jesus, having seen a crowd around Him, gave orders to depart to the other side.

Mt 8:23: And He having entered into the boat, His disciples followed Him.

Mk 4:35: And on that day, evening having come, He says to them, “Let us pass over to the other side.”

Mk 4:36: And having dismissed the crowd, they take Him with [them] since He was in the boat; and other boats were with Him.

Lk 8:22: And it came to pass, on one of the days also, He with His disciples entered into a boat, and He said to them, “Let us pass over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out.

Mt 8:24: And behold, a great storm arose in the sea so that the boat was being swamped by the waves;

Mk 4:37: And a violent storm of wind comes, and the waves were breaking over the boat, so that the boat already is being filled up.

Lk 8:23: And a storm of wind came down on the lake, and they were being swamped, and were in danger.

but He Himself was sleeping.

Mk 4:38: And He was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion.

And of them sailing, He fell asleep.

Mt 8:25: And having approached, they awoke Him,

And they awaken Him

Lk 8:24: And having approached, they awoke Him,

saying, and say to Him, saying,
“Lord, save us, we are perishing!” “Teacher, is it no concern to You that we perish?” “Master, Master, we are perishing!”

Mt 8:26: Then having arisen,

Mk 4:39: And having been awoken,

And having arisen, He
He rebuked the winds and the sea, He rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Silence, be still!” rebuked the wind and the raging of the water,
and there was a great calm. And the wind abated, and there was a great calm. and they ceased, and there was a calm.
And He says to them,

Mk 4:40: And He said to them,

Lk 8:25: And He said to them,

“O [you] of little faith, Why are you afraid?” “Why are you fearful? Have you still no faith?” “Where is your faith?” And having been afraid,

Mt 8:27: And [the] men marveled, saying,

Mk 4:41: And they feared [with] great fear and were saying to each other,

they marveled, saying to one another,
“What kind [of man] is this, “Who then is this, “Who then is this,
that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?”

 

 


(Jesus said) to go to the other side. (They entered) into a boat. A violent storm came up. Jesus was asleep.

They woke him up, saying, “Master, we are perishing!”

He got up and rebuked the wind and the sea.

Calm came.

He said to them, “Where is your faith?”

They said, “Who is this because even the winds and the sea obey him?”
