Mt 7:28: Καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους, ἐξεπλήσσοντο οἱ ὄχλοι ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ· Mt 7:29: ἦν γὰρ διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ὡς ἐξουσίαν ἔχων καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶν.	Mk 1:22: καὶ ἐξεπλήσσοντο ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ· ἦν γὰρ διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ὡς ἐξουσίαν ἔχων καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ γραμματεῖς.¶	Lk 4:32: καὶ ἐξεπλήσσοντο ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐν ἐξουσίᾳ ἦν ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ.¶

Mt 7:28: And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were astonished at His teaching. Mt 7:29: for He was teaching them as [one] having authority, and not as their scribes.	Mk 1:22: And they were astonished at His teaching, for He was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes.	Lk 4:32: and they were astonished at His teaching, for His message was with authority.

Mt 7:28: And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were astonished at His teaching.

They were struck by his teaching… with authority.
