| Mt 5:15: οὐδὲ καίουσιν λύχνον καὶ τιθέασιν αὐτὸν ὑπὸ τὸν μόδιον |
Mk 4:21: Καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· Μήτι ἔρχεται ὁ λύχνος ἵνα ὑπὸ τὸν μόδιον τεθῇ ἢ ὑπὸ τὴν κλίνην; |
Lk 11:33: Οὐδεὶς λύχνον ἅψας εἰς κρύπτην τίθησιν οὐδὲ ὑπὸ τὸν μόδιον |
Lk 8:16: Οὐδεὶς δὲ λύχνον ἅψας καλύπτει αὐτὸν σκεύει ἢ ὑποκάτω κλίνης τίθησιν, |
| ἀλλ᾽ ἐπὶ τὴν λυχνίαν, καὶ λάμπει πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ. |
οὐχ ἵνα ἐπὶ τὴν λυχνίαν τεθῇ; |
ἀλλ᾽ ἐπὶ τὴν λυχνίαν, ἵνα οἱ εἰσπορευόμενοι τὸ φῶς βλέπωσιν.¶

ἀλλ᾽ ἐπὶ λυχνίας τίθησιν, ἵνα οἱ εἰσπορευόμενοι βλέπωσιν τὸ φῶς. |

| Mt 5:15: Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, |
Mk 4:21: And He was saying to them, “The lamp is not brought in so that it might be put under the basket, or under the bed. |
Lk 11:33: But no one having lit a lamp, sets it in secret, nor under the basket, |
Lk 8:16: And no one having lighted a lamp, covers it with a vessel, or puts [it] under a bed. |
| but upon the lampstand, and it gives light to all those in the house. |
[Is it] not that it might be put upon the lampstand? |
but upon the lampstand, that those entering in may see the light. |
But he puts [it] on a lampstand, so that those entering in may see the light. |
