| and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and alighting upon Him. | he saw the heavens tearing open and the Spirit descending as a dove upon Him. |

Jn 1:32: And John bore witness saying, “I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and it remained upon Him. |

Jesus having been baptized, the heavens split open and the Spirit
appeared descending on him like a dove.
A voice came from heaven: “⸂You are¦He is⸃ my Son, the beloved, in whom I am well pleased.”
