| Mt 27:55: Ἦσαν δὲ ἐκεῖ γυναῖκες πολλαὶ ἀπὸ μακρόθεν θεωροῦσαι, αἵτινες ἠκολούθησαν τῷ Ἰησοῦ ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας διακονοῦσαι αὐτῷ·
Mt 27:56: ἐν αἷς ἦν Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνή καὶ Μαρία ἡ τοῦ Ἰακώβου καὶ Ἰωσὴφ μήτηρ καὶ ἡ μήτηρ τῶν υἱῶν Ζεβεδαίου.¶ |
Mk 15:40: Ἦσαν δὲ καὶ γυναῖκες ἀπὸ μακρόθεν θεωροῦσαι, ἐν αἷς καὶ Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ Μαρία ἡ Ἰακώβου τοῦ μικροῦ καὶ Ἰωσῆτος μήτηρ καὶ Σαλώμη,
Mk 15:41: αἳ ὅτε ἦν ἐν τῇ Γαλιλαίᾳ ἠκολούθουν αὐτῷ καὶ διηκόνουν αὐτῷ, καὶ ἄλλαι πολλαὶ αἱ συναναβᾶσαι αὐτῷ εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα.¶ |

| Mt 27:55: And many women were there, looking on from afar off, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him–
Mt 27:56: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee. |
Mk 15:40: And there were also women looking on from afar off, among whom also [were] Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the least and of Joseph, and Salome,
Mk 15:41: who had been following Him and had been ministering to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other [ones] having come up with Him to Jerusalem. |

The women looked from a distance. They were those who had followed him from Galilee, including Mary Magdalene.
